When wood leaves the forest with a certificate of proper forest management, we have assurance that certified companies throughout the supply chain meet the standards so that in the case of products containing the logo of proper forest management, we can be confident that they were made from raw materials sourced from responsibly managed and sustainable sources. In this way, forest management certification helps make ethical and responsible decisions in local supermarkets, bookstores, furniture stores, and many other places.
